Hey, Robert  here,

And you’re reading my uncensored review of what I really thought about My Solar Plans.  Note that this a review though, if you’re looking for My Solar Plans website then Click Here to Visit The My Solar Plans Website.

Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking about buying my solar plans, there weren’t many real reviews around so I thought I’d write one quickly to help any of you who are in the same position I was.

But be warned, I’ll be going into both the good and the bad points, so if that’s something you might not want to hear, then you may as well leave now.

First of all,- What Exactly is My Solar Plans?

My Solar Plans is the latest and greatest do it yourself guide for building your own solar energy. They are others but I found this one to be the best. My Solar Plans system show you step-by-stop exactly how to build your very own solar panels right from your own home. This for someone that wants to save money I mean quite a bit of money and someone that doesn’t mind doing it themselves.

Step by Step – Here’s Exactly What My Solar Plans Program Gives You…

“Basically, you’re getting a how to guide on exactly how to build easy to do solar panels with nothing left out from the tools that you need to every step it takes to get them to work.

Here is a video to give you a behind the scenes of My Solar Plans.

Obviously not everything is perfect in this world so let’s look at the Good and the bad points first the bad…

The Bad Points

Here’s what I didn’t like about it only 1 thing:

* My main gripe is you will need money to start. This is not a free system, you will need to spend money to save money so to speak. However, in my test I found that you don’t need to spend much… typically under $200

The Good Points

* Most importantly: It works and it doesn’t matter what your experience level is, if you implement what in this guide you WILL save money.
* The bonuses they gave are quite helpful to say the least.
* A completely different system than the rest out there. I guarantee you won’t have seen anything like this before. It really does take you by the hand step-step to show you exactly what to do.

Last Word

And so we come to the end of my My Solar Plans review. Overall, this is one of the most impressive and complete D.I.Y. solar panels system I’ve seen.

When you look how unique, simple yet powerful system this is. It will sure save you a huge amount of cash, no matter what you’re experience is. Heck, if I can do it so can you trust me on this one. How to make a solar panel is doable you’ll see!

Let’s continue from the fist post for DIY solar panels. If you have not seen the first post go and see it to get caught up. We are soldering three separate rows of 12 solar cells together in series. Then you can set them aside to be wired together later. You don’t have to worry if this may seem complicated it really is not.

Step 3: Build the Case to House the Solar Cells

Cut your exterior grade ply wood and four lengths of pine timber border to the correct size of your panel. Now glue along the edges of the border and place the four pieces around the perimeter of the ply, fixing them in place with screws.  Now give the substrate a couple of good coats of exterior paint this is to protect against the elements outside. You can also build the substrate out of acrylic.

Step 4: Wire Up The Solar Panel

Now when you paint dries you then fix the three rows of solar cells to the substrate. This is done by using small blobs of silicone. As your using the silicone make sure you apply it to the center of each cell very important. What this does is it allows the cells to expand and contract in the heat of the day without cracking.

The next thing you want to do is join the three rows of solar cells in the correct wiring configuration and solder positive and negative copper wire to the positive and negative contacts of the solar panel.

The two wires are then fixed down with silicone around the perimeter of the panel, and fed out to one of the corners. Okay now you want to cover your finished panel with a sheet of plexiglass, seal it with your silicone, and use aluminum screws and aluminum angle to hold it down.

Step 5: Connect It Up

Alright now let’s have some fun. You solar panel is finished  it’s time to hook it up to a battery which it stores the electricity that the solar panel generates from the sun. An inverter is used to convert the DC power into usable AC power.

It is a good idea to use a charge controller this helps prevent the battery from overcharging. This works by blocking the flow of the current from the panel when the battery is fully charged. The batteries, charge controller and inverter can be purchased for your local hardware, electrical shop or from the Internet.

You inverter you use will depend on how much power you want to draw from your battery or batter banks.

That’s pretty much it you will have a 70-watt solar panel at your disposal. The panels for this size retail for around $400 to $600 each. So for a $120 investment you are saving a great deal and this can power portable electricity for camping, boating, rving, you work shed etc.

If you build more solar panels you can power your entire home. You just add more panels and batteries to generate and store as much electricity as you need. So know you know how actually see how cheap it is to generate free power from the sun. It’s your turn DIY solar panels can be a reality to cut your energy bills.

The guy who put this all together I will talk about in the next post.

With the rising energy prices learning how to make a solar panel is a very wise choice.  Learn how to make a solar panel is actually doable for just anybody and fun. You don’t need to buy solar panels you can make them yourself and create Free electricity at home.

When you build a solar panel you become totally self-sufficient, reduce your power bills up to 80% or even completely, save thousands of dollars and help the environment by going green. This is your chance to do yourself with just one weekend and have fun in the process it actually very easy to do!

There are certain step you need to take let’s look at them:

Step 1: Preparation

You will need these items…

  • Hand saw
  • Tape measure
  • Long-noes nail punch
  • Paint brush/ roller
  • Portable hand drill
  • Multi-meter
  • Soldering iron
  • Brass shavings
  • soldering iron holder
  • Wire clippers
  • Eye protection & respirator
  • Clamps

Purchase the required materials

For 1 70-Watt Solar Panel, You will need

  • Positive copper wire (Red)
  • Negative copper wire (Black)
  • Sheet of exterior grade ply wood
  • Timber border
  • Solder and flux
  • Aluminum angle
  • Screws
  • Sheet of plexiglass
  • Tube of silicon
  • Exterior paint 1/4 can (Already on hand)
  • 36 x tabbed solar cells (.55 volts, 3.6 amps)

Requiring the material can be found at your local hardware store, solar cells can be purchased over the internet and delivered right to your door. They websites do ship worldwide. Here two of the cheapest websites you can use to get started for buying solar cells.

www.eBay.com
www.quadmodsusa.com/solarcells.html

You cost for all materials is around $120.00 Once you have all your material you want to set up your workbench and get ready to begin.

Step 2: Solder Together The Solar Cells

You can do this with a 45-watt soldering iron, and it’s not hard to do. Simply join the tab wires on the back of each cell as you go along.

When you are handling your solar cells it recommend that you were cotton gloves. The reason this is because if you don’t the residues from your fingertips will damage the cells when they are exposed to the sunlight.
